WHAT ARE GRAVITY CENTERED COLONICS?

With our gravity-centered colonics, the results are dramatic but the process is not traumatic. Gravity-centered colonics allow for the simultaneous intake and exit of water throughout the treatment. This prevents water retention and discomfort, especially for those with weak intestinal tracts. The simultaneous exit of water guarantees an effective, calm, and healing experience. Most people’s reluctance to try a colonic comes from the fear of large quantities of water entering the body. Gravity-centered colonics (based on the Woods Gravity Method) create a release that is always twice as strong as the intake. Pay attention to your body during the process and you’ll realize you’re much more aware of what’s leaving than what’s entering. I am “present” throughout the entire process, utilizing abdominal and energy-transfer type massage during the treatment. The importance of a transitional diet to cleanse the body properly is strongly emphasized. Generally, treatments last from 45 minutes to one hour.

CAN A PERSON LOSE WEIGHT BECAUSE OF COLONICS?

Yes, the Villi, which cover the lining of the small intestine, absorb and carry fluids and nutrients to the blood which in turn nourish the cells of the body. When the Villi is plaque-coated with old fecal matter it prevents absorption of nutrients. That’s the reason the body is unable to assimilate any good nutrients and a person needs to eat twice as much in order to assimilate the nutrients. This is all the more reason to clean the impacted fecal matter from our colons; we can then eat less and assimilate better.

WHAT EFFECTS CAN BE EXPECTED FOR THE BODY?

Some clients have reported that colon hydrotherapy has cleared acne, allergies, as well as asthma. They have reported an increase in energy and a feeling of calm. The LUNGS bellowed back, “Without me, you couldn’t breathe.”
The EYES blinked, “Without me, you could not see.”
The KIDNEYS snorted, “Without me, you could not detoxify and eliminate.”
Then the colon meekly spoke up. “I am important. You need me to eliminate all of the garbage from your systems.” Everyone laughed and made fun of him. “How can you be as important as we are?” You’re just a smelly old sewer.”
The poor colon, his feelings were hurt! He turned away and thought, I’ll show them. HE SHUT DOWN!
Then he sat back and watched what would happen.
The BRAIN was stupefied.
The HEART’S beat was weak and irregular.
The ARMS were weak and couldn’t move.
The LUNGS’ breathing were shallow.
The EYES became clouded.
The KIDNEYS quit.
Then the colon looked around and decided it was time to call another meeting. It wasn’t as lively this time. But everyone was in total agreement. THE COLON WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT ORGAN!

DO WE OFFER COLONICS TO CHILDREN?

Yes. We do offer colon hydrotherpay services for children at least 6 years of age or older. However, a parent is REQUIRED to remain with them in the room the entire time. The child has to want to do the session and verbally say so.
The size of the child and emotional state are huge considerations. Some children (even 6 years and older) are just too small to do the session.
The more relaxed a child is, the better the session will go. Children tend to be much more nervous than adults. Girls tend to be more nervous than boys. They may want to bring their own music, book on tape or dvd to play.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

A contraindication is any indication or symptom that makes it inadvisable to use a particular therapy.

The following are contraindications for colon hydrotherapy. If any of these apply to you we are not able to treat you with colon hydrotherapy at the present time without a written prescription from an MD or ND showing supervision over our services for the contraindication .

If you have any of these contraindications you may still be eligible to receive colon hydrotherapy once they have subsided or been eliminated.

Recent history of GI or rectal bleeding
Congestive heart failure
Uncontrolled hypertension
History of seizures
Carcinoma of the rectum

General debilitation
